WELCOME
Welcome to "Sharing the Journey". I hope that this blog will be a place where we can each share a little about our journey in faith whether addressing a particular issue of our society or questions about our own spiritual journey. At times you might find the comments provocative but I hope, always searching, truthful and informative.

Wonder what the feedback has been on a Sunday night service during the summer. How would this line up with other services in the area?
Also, rarely have I seen (but then I may not be very observant) a good old Christmas carol sing. Not the Messiah and not a church service, just a good ol' carol sing along. (Obviously this is a little early, but these ideas leave quickly).
I also mentioned to Sallie Huot the idea of having an open house for area churches when the book(let) on the history of local churches was released. Each church could set up their own display and have some other activity(ties) on that day such as choir sings, lunches, fairs, etc.. Would have to be coordinated of course. Like the House tours in Bath, people could purchase a ticket (maybe money go to local food pantry)and get a sticker and map. Most churches are in walking distance, but others people could drive to.
Enough ideas for one day. Actually first time I have blogged. I don't feel any different yet.
